Whenever a celebrity turns out to be transphobic they get a million hours of media coverage and spotlight. It’s easy to feel like every famous person hates trans people, and that’s just not true! We have tons of high profile allies!

Between Ryan Gosling Ken and Benoit Blanc I’m starting to think that it’s some sort of animal abuse to keep casting big name actors in stoic macho manly man rolls instead of giving them goofy little guys to play. Like look at them their coats are shiny, they seem so much more lively and energetic. We need to make sure all actors have enough goofy little guys to play before peta gets involved.
Yesterday at the picket just before we started wrapping up, our Strike Captain (who’d been manning the Marching Music via portable speaker) goes “ALL RIGHT EVERYBODY, THIS LAST SONG IS DEDICATED TO OUR AMAZING CROSSING GUARD FOR WORKING SO HARD TO KEEP US SAFE! MICHAEL THIS IS FOR YOU-” and started playing Dubstep Wonderwall.
For context, the reason we have crossing guards is because like a week after the picketing started, Universal tore out the sidewalks the writers had originally been using so picketers would have to walk in the streets. After somebody got hit by a car early on, the crossing guards became mandatory until Universal puts up the pedestrian lane that the Labor Relations Unit told them they have to provide.
It’s been over a month, and they haven’t even pretended to start.
